Web Site/News
-Adopt-a-Park service projects are the third Saturday in May and September every year. It is now required to attend at least one Adopt-a-Park service project every two years or come down on your own and do some kind of work for a few hours.
-Club t-shirts, hats, mugs, and more are available for purchase on the club web page.
-Planning to have one or two slalom clinics this year possibly with Jason Hutchings and Carly Clifton.
-All members including family members can ski for free in the GOODE Utah State Championships on August 20th, does not include practice on Friday. In order to ski for free you will need to send in an official entry form before the August 12th deadline.
-List of places that offer discounts to UWSC members with a current membership card on web page.

-Reminder that when you show up at the course you must replace any missing buoys BEFORE you ski. This is the only fair way for all members to enjoy the course and not over burden the equipment manager. One of the jobs of equipment manager is to make sure there is equipment at the course ready to install but not to replace missing buys unless he or she is the one that shows up at the course with missing buoys.
-Club has an air chair and portable slalom course for club use, contact VP of Equipment to reserve.
-USA Water ski sign in sheet must be signed each day you ski the clubs course. Sign in sheet is located in the white binder in the dock box.

-Reminder that we are on a public lake and non members can use the course when not being used by members. If possible non members use the course between member sets if time allows.
-Reminder to follow all state boating laws: Use a flag, coast guard approved vest, spotter, and go wakeless speed within 150’ of the dock and other boats.
-Currently 59 members with 54 on the waiting list.
-A minimum of three new members get into the club each year from the wait list, possibly more depending on who drops out and projected water levels.
-Membership renewal deadline is still April 1st.
-Emeritus memberships are now free for club members 60+ yrs old and who have been in the club 20+ yrs. Special thanks to Keith Morgan for his many years of service in the club. Keith will be stepping down this year to become an emeritus member along with Briant Summerhays and Richard Lohner.
