Club Work Day at Utah Lake

 Hey Everyone,

It is that time of year when we have our club work day at Utah Lake.  This year it is going to be on Saturday, May 16th at 9:00 at the Provo Harbor.  We will be doing maintenance out at course 3 working on the course and the docks.  We need to put up the awnings on the two docks.  We need to do some TLC to the docs cleaning them, staining the wood dock, repair the lockers, reposition one or possibly both the docs.  We will also be showing the members how to perform course maintenance and repairs such as adjusting the buoys and replacing missing ones.

So meet at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16th.  We need some boats to carry everyone out there.  So if you could bring your boat, please let us know.  The club will reimburse you for your fuel.

Please RSVP so we know who will be attending.  And also let us know if you can bring a boat.

2026 annual meeting

Dear Utah Water Ski Club Members:

 

Happy new year!  Hope you're enjoying the frozen stuff while we wait for Spring.

 

Our annual club meeting at the Boat Show is coming up.  This year the Boat Show runs from Thursday, January 29 to February 1 -- so mark it down on your calendars.  Like always, our club meeting will be held the opening night of the show.  So, Thursday, January 29th at 6:00 will be our annual meeting.  It will be held in room 200D.  Please plan on attending.  We will be going over the state of the club and upcoming activities.  Besides, it's fun just being able to see and visit with everybody.

 

If you attend the meeting, AND you have paid your yearly dues for 2026, you will get one (1) free ticket to enter the Boat Show.  Please go to the club's website and pay your yearly dues now while you are thinking about it.  You can pay using Venmo.  You don't have to have a Venmo account to do this.  Do it now and be done with it.  By way of reminder, the yearly dues for BOTH existing club members and new club members is now $175.00, $75.00 for Emeritus members (as discussed at the last annual meeting).
