Thanks to the official 22 members (plus more family members) who came out today, we were able to pick up trash and place sand on a new river beach area. Thanks to the Rick Anderson family who provided a great Chile Verde lunch.

May News

-The semiannual (third Saturday in May/Sept) Utah Water Ski CLub Adopt-a-Park service project/activity will be held Saturday May 21st from 11 am to noon, BBQ lunch at noon. In addition to picking up trash we might be doing some river bank clean up. The State Park will provide trash bags so all you really need to bring is gloves and clothing you can get a little dirty. A reminder that all members are required to attend one of the two Adopt-a-Park service projects every year or go down on your own and ask what you can do. If you go down on your own fill out page four of the volunteer sheet then scan/take a picture of it then email to

-If you plan to attend please email by Wednesday the 18th and let the board know if you will be attending and how many in your group will staying for lunch. You can also RSVP on the clubs Facebook page as well at If you use Facebook make sure you note how many in your group will be eating lunch.

-Course #4a and #4b are up, #4a will be usable until the water drops below -4.50 at which point we will move to course #4b for the rest of the summer/fall. It is very shallow on the west end of course #4a so you must veer to the north or you will hit bottom!

-Reminder that the club is planning on a ski day at Still Water Lake Estates on June 25th, boats/gas and lunch will be provided at no cost. Mike Nelson is also planning on bringing his flyboard to demo as well.
